charms and jewellery- ways to wear charms- jewellery box on right title on left

When I thought about what I wanted to blog about as it related to charms and jewellery, this post wasn’t one that I originally planned to do as it seems quite self-explanatory. However, when I did a little bit of research I realised that although charm bracelets are extremely popular the other ways to wear charms aren’t discussed as much. So I created this post to briefly look at four of these ways.

Ways to Wear Charms

1/ Wearing Charms on Bracelets

This is almost always what people think of when they think of charms and jewellery for good reason too as it’s so popular. Adding charms to a bracelet is certainly fun and greatly enjoyed at TCC.  There are several styles of bracelets to choose from and hundreds of charms to suit personal tastes and preferences. Therefore, it becomes a very sentimental piece of jewellery that also tells a story.

2/ Wearing Charms on Necklaces

Charms can be used as pendants on necklaces. Select particular charms to suit the occasion and mix & match with your outfits to add an extra touch. I’ve fallen in love with the floating locket necklaces with their unique charms. These are a variation of the charm bracelets that tell stories as well through the charms selected for the lockets.

3/ Wearing Charms on Anklets

Add some sparkle on your leg with a charm anklet. These are great for springtime and summer as it’s warmer and people de-layer from winter. Or in my case, we can wear anklets year-round in the Caribbean due to the tropical climate. Anklets can also be swapped to fit the occasion.

4/ Wearing Charms on Earrings

I’m a personal fan of earrings so charm earrings are a favourite. There is huge variety where earrings are concerned which is one of the things I like about them. However, earrings can certainly tell a story and be great conversation starters. I have a pair of earrings that resemble chocolate bars and I always receive many comments when I wear them.

I hope the post encourages you to consider another way to wear charms or broaden your perspective if you are interested in purchasing charm jewellery for yourself or as a gift.

I’ll leave you with one quick tip.

Wearing charms in a different way can be as simple as swapping some of your bracelet charms to your necklace for a new look.

This was so helpful, and I love your creativity. Thank you so much for posting this!

  2. I’m maybe looking into getting some charms for my girlfriend. I happen to find any ankle bracelets (charms included) (not ones given on parole) to be quite sexy on a woman. They make quite the sentimental gift also! More men need to be more informed I think haha. You’re a huge fan of charms, aren’t ya Tamika?
